At Almighty, privacy is the foundation of our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected when you use the Almighty messaging application (“the App”).
We collect limited personal information such as your phone number and/or email address when you register. This information is used solely for account verification, authentication, and essential app functionality.
With your explicit permission, the App may access your device’s contact list (names and phone numbers) to help you find friends who are already using Almighty and to invite others. When you grant contacts access, your contact phone numbers are sent to our server to check which of your contacts are registered Almighty users. This data is processed in real-time for matching purposes and is not permanently stored on our servers. We do not use contact data for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than helping you connect with people you know. You can deny or revoke contacts access at any time through your device settings.
Messages, media, and other content you send through the App are stored on our servers to deliver them to intended recipients. Group chat content is stored for group members to access. We do not read, scan, or analyze the content of your private messages for advertising or marketing purposes.
When you make or receive voice or video calls, we store call metadata such as participants, call duration, call type, and timestamps. We do not record the audio or video content of your calls.
Content you create and share through features such as Sharenify posts, community posts, comments, and profile information is stored on our servers to provide these services.
With your permission, the App accesses your device’s camera and microphone for video and voice calls, recording audio messages, and capturing photos or videos to share within the App. Camera and microphone data is only accessed when you actively use these features and is not recorded or monitored in the background.
With your permission, the App accesses your photo library to let you share photos and videos with other users, and to save received media to your device. We only access media you specifically select to share.
With your permission, the App may access your device’s location to enable location-sharing features with other users. Location data is only collected when you actively choose to share your location and is not tracked in the background.
We collect device tokens (such as Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens and Apple Push Notification tokens) to deliver push notifications for incoming calls, messages, and other app events. These tokens are stored on our servers and are used solely for delivering notifications to your device.
We may collect anonymized crash reports and diagnostic data to identify bugs and improve app stability and performance. This data is not used for advertising, is not linked to third-party data, and is not used to track users across apps or websites.
